Cataclysms and the Periodic Disappearance of Advanced Technologies

One of the most compelling categories of evidence in support of the Planet X theory are the historical gaps in technology which indicate that very abruptly, highly advanced civilizations lost their access to technologies: writing, architecture, medicine, so many areas of advanced skill appear to have suddenly disappeared from the scene. Some reappeared later, while others did not.

What follows is an interesting passage written by Sadaputa dasa (Dr. Richard L. Thompson) about several historically documented dark ages, including a 'dark period' in India that may correspond with the last estimated passage of Planet X, around 1588 B.C.

THE DARK AGES

"In the case of the Antikythera computer, the great decline in knowledge that occurred with the fall of the Roman Empire may have been more than sufficient to wipe out nearly all traces of the science behind its construction. Of course, we can easily imagine knowledge being lost even without a period of social disruption. But it is nonetheless interesting that a "dark age" apparently prevailed well after the time of the great pyramid and just before the rise of Babylonia astronomy.

What follows is a fascinating report compiled by 'Sickscent', a blogger I came across on my favorite conspiracy forum. The document, which is 97 pages in length (PDF), summarizes a number of forum exchanges that took place on GLP and elsewhere, along with many support documents. I've been fascinated to read Sickscent's intelligent speculation and analysis of the various sun and celestial events taking place, and his ability to parse news reports from the science agencies, and put the pieces into some kind of orderly form. "It all started with a statement made by a man working for BOEING. He does not work for NASA, but rather is a NASA contractor from BOEING. Do to this contract work there was many video conferences and other meetings he was included in. His first statement:

I work for a NASA contractor and handle the video conferencing sessions between JSC and other facilities. Everybody always wants to see a link. Well, everything talked about in these vc's is top secret - so there's obviously not a link. I love my family and need my job so I'm not gonna tell you much that would endanger those either. I work for Boeing. All I can tell you is there is a LOT of interesting shit happening. The moon is NOT crashing - but it doesn't need to. There is a reason so many are sending birds up to watch the Sun - and it's not cause we just would like to know more about the Sun.

John Moore on Planet X

For those who aren't particularly inclined to astronomy and the complex math it relies upon, getting a handle on the Planet X phenomenon is daunting. Parsing through all the data on elliptical orbits, depths of space measurement, etc. seems impossible without dedicating an enormous amount of time to learning a new science. That's why I've taken the route I have into this issue: tracking celestial and weather anomalies and the actions of government and civil preparedness entities. This is a 1 + 1 = 2 formula I can understand: great balls of fire are shooting through the skies like we've never seen before… governments are building huge underground facilities and spending billions to move facilities inland. You don't need a slide rule or calculator to make reasonable assumptions about those facts.

J.R. Moore of TheLibertyMan.com, host of the John Moore show on RBN, is one of the sources of information I've found most helpful. He comes at the issue from the military and civil preparedness side, and seems to have a good grip on much of the science and anecdotal information, as well. So the reports John provides form a part of my baseline for vetting information. In this thread, we'll track some of the data points he's basing his conclusions on. This is not a comprehensive list, but is a work in progress.

PLANET X ?

Significant changes on the earth and in the skies have begun happening in many parts of the world over the last few years. These include meteors and fireballs in the sky, sonic booms, earth rumbling, earthquakes happening where they aren't expected, rapid changes in the magnetosphere, unusual solar activity, and a host of surreptitious activities on the part of federal government and state and local civil authorities that seem to indicate something ominous is coming our way.

Since the 1970's, we have heard talk about the fact that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012. A host of corroborating information has emerged over the years, and the 'group mind' on planet earth seems to be coalescing around the idea that a major planetary shift is headed our way. Some anticipate a pole shift brought about by a celestial body that is due to move into the earth's orbit, blanketing the earth in a dust cloud that will seriously whack our magnetosphere. This, in turn, could cause massively violent weather, earthquakes, and ocean displacement.
